Women trafficking women
The largest ever people-trafficking ring in Israel has been uncovered. Twelve members of the gang (all women) were arrested by police in Tel Aviv on 8 March following a two-year undercover operation, for sale according to a report by IRIN. The suspected traffickers are accused of smuggling hundreds of women from Russia into Israel to work in the sex industry.
