Editor in chief ensures her paper covers the issue of domestic violence

Susana Mendes is an unusual woman. As the first woman to hold the title of editor in chief at Angolense, Angola's leading investigative weekly, she is in charge of covering the country's $1.7 billion oil industry, government corruption and injustices in the poorer neighbourhoods of Angola. 

So much, so obvious you might think but Mendes also ensures the paper that the paper routinely focuses on a topic often treated as a special women's issue – domestic violence.
