Samantha and Miriam’s fashion choices rectify political gender imbalance

It seems the current political gender imbalance is not as bad as we thought – whilst we may only have four women in the cabinet, we are lucky enough to have TWO leaders’ wives! The Daily Mail has set the tone for what is likely to be a scintillating next five years with a detailed run down of Samantha Cameron and Miriam Clegg’s morning fashion choices. Miriam Clegg, sources say, did not wear any make up as she left for work yesterday. Samantha Cameron accessorized minimally with a pair of hoop earrings.

We are however reminded that, despite her well informed fashion choices, Samantha Cameron does not really have a head for business or politics.

So I suppose we can rest easy, knowing that there are now two more ‘political’ women in the public eye, being treated with all due respect by our media outlets.
