Sierra Leone – leading the way in tackling gender based violence and maternity mortality rates

Mary Robinson in the Huffington Post suggests that we should use Sierra Leone as a model when it comes to tackling gender based violence and maternity mortality rates.

In her article, Robinson says that during the ten-year review of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals in September, order we should 'take a closer look at the success of the Sierra Leone program and
commit to apply its lessons in other countries around the world'.
