England women’s rugby team fall at last hurdle in World Cup bid
England women’s rugby team made it to the final of the World Cup yesterday (as reported on WVoN).
Unfortunately, they were pipped to the post by New Zealand. You can listen to captain Catherine Spencer talking to BBC news. Not surprisingly, she says she was “devasted” to lose the final but admits it was a fitting final to finish the tournament.
