Children’s author, Katharine Quarmby, who was harrassed for two years by journalist Greg Downing, googled her own name and found a 29-page blog written by him about her.

Titled ‘A Novel: Katharine Quarmby’, the blog tells the story of  a man stalking the writer, burgling her home, raping and finally murdering her.

The London Evening Standard reports  that 40-year-old Downing bombarded Ms Quarmby, who lives in north London, with phone calls and emails after they met through an online dating site in 2008. He was jailed for six months. Judge Deva Pillay said: “This can only be described as a campaign of harassment.
