Mary grew up in South America, but wanted to leave at the earliest opportunity.
At the age of 20 she headed to Britain to start her course on Astrophysics.
Unfortunately, Mary’s old and well hidden interest in politics began to surface at around her second year at university.
Since then, she has been dragged against her will, kicking and screaming, into the world of writing and feminism by her very obstinate, stubborn heart and against the better judgement of her rational, sensible head.
Mary has been engaged in a battle against her heart for a while now, and judging by her current activities and interests, her heart is winning.
She’s too passionate and creative to be anything but a writer. She aspires to one day be able to state with pride that she’s a prolific author, theorist, educator and public speaker.
Mary has been blogging for four years, focusing compulsively and exclusively on politics, especially feminism, left politics, the economy, hierarchies of power, class, society and philosophy.
She writes about politics from radically different, never-before seen angles, in her personal blog.
