After four years as senior staff writer at Newswatch Magazine, Rachel worked as a freelance journalist for corporate magazines.

These include the Bank PHB’s Inspire, IRS Airline In-flight Magazine, the Federal Ministry of Tourism, Tour Nigeria Magazine and NEXT234 daily newspaper.

She then decided to do some online writing/social media research by obtaining a Masters degree in New Media and Internet Technologies from the University of Bedfordshire, UK.

Rachel has also been nominated twice for Journalist of the Year at The Future Awards, Nigeria.

She loves writing and adores fashion for the connection it has to so many other forms of creativity and intends to make the world better by writing – one story at a time. It’s a huge honour being part of the WVoN team! She describes herself as a dreamer, an eternal optimist and a fantasist.
