I always wanted to be a journalist and in early 2011 decided to take the plunge and become properly trained.
I now juggle freelance journalism with a part-time job as a Policy and Research Officer in an East London council, which helps me keep up to date with the latest trends in policy and public affairs.
My particular interests are health, social care, housing and economic affairs and I have written for Inside Housing, Community Care and Local Government News magazines.
I volunteered to write for Women’s Views on News as it gives me an excellent opportunity to find out what women all around the world are doing and to connect with them.
I live in East London with my partner and when I am not working I enjoy cooking and walking in Lea Valley Park.
