Womensviewsonnews.org is the online daily women’s news service operating on a not for profit basis.

Our vision is to build a world where all women’s voices and experiences are heard by all.

Our mission is therefore to give a voice to the women whose stories and experiences of the world are all too often ignored.

We do this by by sourcing stories from a range of online global, daily newspapers, press agencies, charities, magazines (weekly and monthly), social justice organisations and assorted blogs.

Marketing support

We are looking for someone who can help with marketing (unpaid, sorry, we’re all volunteers) who would be prepared to work for at least half a day per week (we work Monday to Saturday) for up to six months.

You won’t incur travel expenses as we all work remotely. All you need is a computer and access to the internet.

The job

The first (and most urgent) part of the job is to help us find some ethical advertisers for the site so that we can continue to grow.

Initially we need revenue from the adverts to pay for a super-duper server that won’t keep crashing, but ultimately we would like to be able to offer our volunteers expenses to help cover the cost of their internet connection and the upkeep of their laptops.

We also need help with our social media marketing, particularly helping us to grow on Facebook and Twitter.

And, finally, we want to get our name better known with other women’s organisations around the world so we need a strategy to help us undertake that.
