Newlywed says wife’s death was ‘accidental during a sex game’ after discovery of affairs

Newlywed Michael Roberts strangled his wife, Vicky, to death after she discovered he was cheating. The Telegraph reports that after five months of marriage he had conducted two affairs. But on November 29, a day before he was due to see his mistress, he killed her, Liverpool Crown Court heard. Jimena Navarrete, the recently crowned Miss Universe, spoke out in support of LGBT rights and marriage equality this week, on a Mexican radio programme. According to Navarrete: ’I don’t believe it’s just to discriminate somebody based on the gender they prefer, right? Based on the partner they choose to select, if it’s a man or a woman. Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki has reached the second round of the US Open by beating qualifier Chelsey Gullickson at Flushing Meadows, New York. She recorded a 6-1, 6-1 victory over American Gullickson, though the match ended late in the night, CNN.com reports.
