Sex slavery of the Moroccan women in the Gulf

Share

Blogger AmoonaM translates an article, originally published in magazine, TelQuel, about sex slavery in the Gulf. The article tells the story of  the many Moroccan women who go to work as housekeepers, hairdressers or hostesses in Gulf countries, and end up hostages of human traffic networks. Isolated and often mistreated, they are forced to work in entertainment milieu, then to prostitute themselves

With ambiguous figures and issues that officials refuse  to truly acknowledge, it is difficult to gauge and therefore control the scale of the problem. For more details and personal testimonies, go to Slamoza.wordpress.com.
