Market research leads to marvellous discoveries

Women! Don’t fret! Good news is here (if frivolous news is good news that is). A whopping 71% of women love clothes that don’t need ironing. Yes. That’s right.
Possibly the most useless market research ever carried out, has found that 3 out of 4 women prefer to buy clothes that don’t require dry-cleaning.
The revelations don’t end there.
Mintel, who have surely wasted far too much time bringing this information to us, have also found that 59% of women are not interested in buying items that require ‘dainty washing’.
Apparently this is not down to women disliking delicate fabrics, but the extra care needed to keep them fresh.
Thank you Mintel for bringing this knowledge into our lives.
My question to them is, how many delicate items could they have washed and ironed in the time it took to do this research? Answers on a postcard please.
