Obama – ‘throwing like a little girl’
A video from AOL is doing the rounds of cyberspace this evening because of its sexist content.
American television presenter Joe Scarborough and his ‘Morning Joe’ co-host Mika Brzezinski make fun of new House Speaker John Boehner for his frequent crying and President Obama for throwing “like a little girl.”
As the American Prospect reports:
“It’s disappointing that the two hosts would bandy about such stereotypes in 2011…
“…and it’s also another symptom of what happens when so many of the professionals in network television, news media and politics are men…
“…there’s no one around to get it into their heads that those things aren’t ok to say.”
